What is QR Code?

QR Code is a two-dimensional matrix format that stores data in a grid of modules. It uses finder patterns for orientation and a quiet zone around the symbol.

Data and validation

Payload length, data mode and selected error correction affect the smallest symbol version that can contain the data. Check the encoded result at its final physical size.

Structure, size and quiet zones

Finder and timing patterns are structural parts of the symbol. Keep the quiet zone clear and choose a module size that remains printable and readable in the intended environment.

Logos, gradients and experimental module shapes can reduce scan reliability. Use representative devices and the final print or display process for scan checks.

Barcode Next support

Barcode Next provides QR data validation, error-correction controls, preview, supported appearance options and vector or raster export. Centered logos and experimental styling remain subject to visible scan-safety guidance.
